General Election 2015

It has been a privilege to represent all of you and our community over the last 16 years, and I am asking for your support and trust once again on 7th May 2015.

Society works best when we all contribute. We can see the benefits of this in the great community organisations we are proud to have in Leeds. But we also need a Labour Government that will stand up for all of us too and build a fairer society.

I am fighting this election to devolve power, abolish the bedroom tax - which affects 1,900 families in Leeds Central - increase the minimum wage, freeze energy prices, provide proper apprenticeships, build the homes we need and protect our NHS.

Please get in touch with me at if I can be of help, and I do hope you will cast your vote for Labour on polling day.

Best wishes

Hilary Benn
Labour Parliamentary Candidate for Leeds Central
